Together, the School of Social Work, the Office for Diversity and Inclusion and the Democracy and Dialogues Initiative is pleased to announce the launch of “Voices From the Pack: Stories for Racial Justice and Healing.”
Funded by $12,000 grant awarded from the President’s Commitment to Community Initiative, the project aims to collect student testimonies reflecting on experiences that have challenged them to think about their participation in anti-racism or racial justice. These stories will be filmed, and a short video will be released as a resource for the UConn community.
Interested students can apply HERE until March 1, 2021. Participants must be available for trainings and film dates and will be awarded a $350.00 stipend upon completion of the film.
Please see the flyer below for more information on the program and do not hesitate to reach out to Lisa Werkmeister Rozas (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Brendan Kane (email@example.com) with any questions or concerns.
